The events below happened exactly one year ago, I got this off my Facebook memory and felt the need to share. I wrote this exactly one year ago, I know it will bless you and challenge you as it did me…………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Revelation 12:11 NKJV – And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony……..

Refuse, to be in agreement with anything that is not of God, anything that is outside the word of God or that is not from His kingdom. Believe and stand on Gods report ONLY.

Let me give a testimony today and show you that the word of God is true and powerful. Yesterday I got sick; I started feeling off in the morning but ignored it. Later in the evening I went out for a walk to enjoy the setting sun and when I got back home after like 30mins I started shivering. Within one hour I was so sick, unbelievably so. You name it, I felt it, from joints to high fever, weak body, swelling throat, headache, unable to stand and walk straight etc. I literally had to dress like an eskimo to try and contain the shivering. All this while using an electric heater to keep warm. That is how terrible I felt.

I refused to give in to the state of my body and remain sick. Despite how I was feeling, I kept saying to myself I am not sick, all in a bid to convince myself that indeed I am not. If you speak it and believe it, you will have it.

Mark 11:23(b)……………………and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

I had to fight this thing tooth and nail. I started quoting scriptures about health, renewal of strength, victory etc. Any relevant scripture I could remember and that google could pop up, I quoted. However, nothing seemed to be changing. As a matter of fact, the situation seemed to be getting worse; I only got weaker and clearly sicklier.

Deep down in my heart I had decided I am not giving up, God had told me that I walk in divine health and I was ready to fight to receive what God told me through His word.

I Peter 2:24 NKJV – who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed

The Bible clearly tells me I was healed, not I will be, I was healed. Notice the tense in the scripture above. Healing already happened. So if I was healed and Jesus took all sickness, what business do I have being sick if I truly believe God and take Him at His word? There was no way I was going to allow the devil to touch my health, not today Satan I told myself. You see sickness is of the devil; it is NOT the will of God for us to be sick, that is why Jesus healed ALL the sick. If it is Gods will for us to be sick then why did Jesus heal all? Was Jesus going against the will of God? Was He rebelling? I think not. I shudder when I hear someone say, God gave me this sickness to humble me or teach me something, or when someone preaches that it is Gods will for you one to be sick.

Matthew 4:24(b)……………..he healed them all

That is Gods will; to heal all, remember Jesus did not come to do His will BUT the will of the father. So anyways, I went to sleep in a really bad state, despite all the confessing and believing, nothing really seemed to change as far as my condition was concerned. I had however decided not to give up, something inside me just pushed me to fight on. As I got into bed, I confessed that God was going to work on me that night, He would heal me as I sleep and I would wake up well. Going to hospital was not an option. I had this push to fight to get what is rightfully mine i.e health.

3 John 1:2 NASB – Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers

My testimony is of health and not sickness, going to hospital would be testifying and agreeing with sickness. Please do NOT get me wrong, I am not saying going to hospital is bad, I respect the hospitals and I thank God for the wisdom He has given the doctors to do what they do. There is a place for hospitals. I just personally decided, two years ago based on the Bible that I cannot get sick, as Christ is so am I in this world, I am the temple of God. If at all God lives in me, how then can sickness coexist with God? That is my attitude towards sickness and my faith and it is based on the word of God that is true. It has kept sickness away. I have radical faith and I make no apologies. If God said it, then I take it and run with it, period. For example man can relate his sickness to a virus and treat it in 3days or usually more, however I have not conformed to the patterns of this world. I am different, the bible says I am not of this world so I always look at everything from a spiritual heavenly perspective, to me sickness is a spirit and it is not from God. I cast it out and get me my healing immediately. Notice the sick were brought to Jesus and He cast demons out of them. Jesus thought differently, He did not live in a box, who am I to limit myself when the Bible says I am a citizen of heaven? Renew your mind.

Matthew 9:29 NASB – ………….It shall be done to you according to your faith.”

Anyways, like I mentioned I went to sleep in a very bad state, very uncomfortable and sweating heavily. As a result, I kept tossing and turning in bed. At every opportunity I got, I confessed that I am healed and I thanked God for His healing power. I believed I was healed and ignored my physical body, I saw myself healed.

Now here comes the experience part of the story, at some point during night I heard God say, very clearly, as if someone was literally speaking to me, I heard in an audible voice, ‘I have healed you’.

Immediately after the voice had spoken, I felt a heat, a burning sensation on my foot, at the bottom of my foot. The warm sensation covered both feet and I could feel it come up my body, moving through my body like some sort of scan.  Just like that, the fever immediately went and joints were restored. Hallelujah!! Glory to the most high God. God is faithful. Always be expectant and positive no matter what.

I got back to sleep and woke up strong, no fever, no joint pains. Glory to God. The only thing that was not 100% was my head and throat, I had a terrible headache and a terribly swollen throat. I knew that for a fact I had been healed and I remembered the voice I heard the previous night so I was not going to settle for anything short of 100% healing. Jesus made the sick whole I too wanted my wholeness.

I remained in the place of worship and trust. After trying to take something light for breakfast and overcoming the temptation of taking a pain killer because of the pain I took a nap with worship music playing in the background. I was not in a position to sing so I figured that I might as well just play the music and let it do the singing on my behalf. It was a 1 hour nap. I woke up 1 hour later. Guess what? No headache no throat pain and absolutely no swelling or any kind of discomfort. I was whole, 100%. Glory to God. Hahaha. Who is like God? How excited I was

The verse below became real to me. I experientially understood it.

1 Timothy 6:12 NKJV – Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called ……………………..

Brother and sister, we have to FIGHT to get a hold of what eternal life has for us. You see when you got born again; you received this very same eternal life. The greek word for eternal life is ‘aionios zoe‘ which means the God kind of life, fullness of life, active and vigorous life, a blessed life without beginning or end i.e eternal. You received this when you got born again. Are you living it? If you feel you are not living as per Gods will, then refuse it, resist the devil and He will flee. God wants the best for you, you have to believe this in your hearts of hearts.

John 3:16 NASB – For God so loved the world, that He gave His ^[a]only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

You will not receive this eternal life when you die and go to heaven, no, you already have it now. You received it when you got born again. God tells us in 1 Timothy 6:12 to fight the good fight of faith so that we lay hold of eternal life. The devil does not want you to manifest your zoe life now, he wants you to live a defeated life, he wants you to settle for less and not walk in the fullness Christ availed for you through the cross. Please read 1st John 4:17 and believe that God wants His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

John 10:10 NASB – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and ^[a]have it abundantly.

I am sure I am not the only one who read the abundance bit. Refuse to settle for less, be it in health, joy, marriage, finances, business, ministry etc. FIGHT the good fight of faith. Choose to believe God, decide to take God at His word, do NOT be moved by what you feel or see, that is how you get to this level. You my brother and sister are called to live by FAITH and NOT by sight. Start practicing it now and see that in no time yours will be a triumphant life.

I will share part two of this blog and share how the faith of a four year old (my daughter) challenged me and proved to work and doubt failed me. You will understand why I titled the message child like faith.

To milk or to eat? The answer to the question depends on what you want to do and achieve in and for the kingdom.

Luke 15:22-23 KJV – But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

Notice the best calf was killed, eaten then the joy and merry followed. Jesus, the perfect (best) lamb had to be sacrificed, we then must complete the cycle and eat Him i.e the word, the bread of life. The merry, the living and the life is in or is as a result of the eating of Christ, the meat. So get to eating the bread \ meat of life – read the word.

John 6:35 KJV – And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life…….

John 6.55-56 KJV – For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

The son was also given a robe. This signified change in identity, change of mindset, perception, appearance and class.

Ephesians 4:23-24 KJV – And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The first thing you should do when you get born again, when you return to the kingdom, is to renew your mind; Before you rule you need to put on the new man who is after Christ.

Romans 12:2 NKJV – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I love how the passion puts it,

Romans 12:2 Passion Translation –  Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you,^[a] but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

When the prodigal son returned, his dress code was immediately changed by the father. You see a robe and ring were symbols of authority and rulership. Basically what the father was saying to the son was, ‘son it is time for you to rule and manage my kingdom, your inheritance.’

This is what God is saying to His sons and daughters today. It is time to take charge and rule the earth.

Psalms 2:8 NKJV – Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

Romans 8:17 KJV – And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ……………………….

It is time to reign in life,

Romans 5:17 KJV – For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Sons and daughters of the most High God, it is time to reign, it is time to rule, it is time to change the diet to meat. It is time to be who you really are.

Psalms 82:6 KJV –  I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Romans 8:19 The Passion – The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!

Back to our opening scripture, Luke 15:22-23, notice the Father immediately changed the diet of the son upon the sons arrival. A calf was slaughtered and the young man ate MEAT. Why meat? After such a long journey the most practical thing to give the man would have been water or something to quench his thirst perhaps. So why meat? I always say, as I have come to learn, nothing in the bible is by chance. I will show you why meat, walk and work with me here.

Hebrews 5:12 KJV – For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

1 Corinthians 3:1-2 KJV – And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Meat is for adults, grown ups, mature Christians. Please note maturity has nothing to do with age or how long you have been saved. Maturity is a measure of understanding and believing. You may know, but do you understand? You may understand but do you believe? You see in the kingdom things work differently, the teacher teaches at the pace of the student, the teacher teaches when and if the student is willing to learn, the teacher teaches only as far as the student wants to learn. How hungry are you for the things of God? How deep do you want to go with God? You set the depth, God is ready when you are.

Psalms 81:10 KJV – I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

God will not open your mouth, you open your mouth and He will correspond by filling it. God does not dictate how wide you open  your mouth, He will fill it in accordance to how wide you open it.

Isaiah 55:1 KJV – “Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters……………

Revelations 21:6 KJV – Then He said to me, “It is done I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.

God will not take you to the waters, you take yourself or die of thirst, it really is your choice. Are you thirsty? Then go to the waters, go to the springs, you will be filled in accordance to your capacity. Remember the widow in 2nd Kings 4:6?

Revelation 22:17 KJV – The Spirit and the bride say, “Come ” And let the one who hears say, “Come ” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

You will have to go. Even the prodigal son had to go to the Father before the Father went to him. The interesting thing is that all along the Father (God) was there looking out for the son, waiting for the day the son will make the decision to go back home.

James 4:8 KJV -Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you……………

Today God is telling you, ‘COME’. I feel it so strongly in my spirit, there is an open invitation, will you draw closer?

As I was saying, rather as I AM saying, the diet was changed, the prodigal son was given meat. The time had come for him to rule and take charge, he was ready to take up his position in the kingdom.

Galatians 4:1-2 KJV – Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Children and babes are attracted by milk but mature sons and daughters take meat. Milk is good but there is meat to the milk. In the video podcast of this blog I will explain what exactly milk is. Then you will understand why Peter left the catch of fish and followed Jesus, why the disciples left their lifestyles to follow Jesus and you will understand why the promised land is full of milk and honey but before entry you have to believe (be mature and eater of meat).

Anyways, The time had come for the son to take charge, that is why the father fed him meat. The appointed time had come, Galatians 4:2. One might ask, when is the appointed time?

Galatians 4:4 KJV – But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

The appointed time is NOW, we clearly live in the fullness of time. Now is the time for you to take your position as heir and change your diet from milk to meat. Now is the time to rule and reign, Revelation 5:10. When Jesus came, time was fulfilled. That is what Galatians 4:4 is telling us. It is now possible and it really is up to you to have everything Jesus died for, to access, manifest and live in the finished works of the cross.

2 Corinthians 6:2 NASB – for He says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation”—

Your time is now. NOW faith. Hallelujah!!!

Hebrews 11:1 NASB – Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Father in the mighty name of Jesus, I thank you for the life of every person reading this. May the eyes of their heart be enlightened and by the power of the Holy Spirit may they rise and shine for your glory is upon them. May they look up and behold the kingdom before them and take up their rightful positions in the name of Jesus. I bind the spirit of unbelief and doubt. I declare and decree no more delays, no more fear and no more limitations in the mighty name of Jesus, AMEN!!!

Child of God, rise up, get off the bench and get into the field, nations await you. Be bold and live in your now moment. Only believe then fight the good fight of faith.

Psalms 55:17 KJV – Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

The above scripture jumped at me last month as my wife, Queen Irene and I were going through the Psalms as has become our daily routine. I noticed the mention of evening, morning and noon and I could not help but question why David mentioned these specific times. One thing the Holy Spirit has taught me especially this year is to question everything in the Bible and dig deeper. I have since learnt that nothing in the Bible is written or captured just for the sake of it. So I asked God, why did David speak of evening, morning and noon time?

It was not until last week that I believe God answered me and that is why I am excited to share this revelation hot from the throne of grace. Stay with me.

Over the years I have noticed that many churches and also many Christians like to pray at these specific times, especially noon. In my human wisdom I assumed that maybe Heaven is open during these specific times hence why even David prayed at these times.  However, after the death and resurrection of Jesus, we were transferred into the heavenly realms right next to Jesus. We live and operate under open heavens.

Ephesians 2:4-7 KJV……………………….And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:…………………………

We have access by the blood round the clock, anytime any place and that is the gospel. Do not be cheated that it is better to pray at specific times, remember the old slang saying, anytime is tea time?

Hebrews 10:19 NASB – Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,

Let me confess, I used to be a dedicated member of various prayer movements where it was religiously required of us to pray at specific times and fire specific prayer bullets at different yet specific times of the day and seasons within the year. Looking back, I really thank God for His mercy and freedom from such naive dead works, thinking and believing that heaven is widely open 3 times a day. Good Lord!!!! Thank God I now know better. One of my spiritual Authorities, once asked me, ‘………….this devil you keep binding and firing at, who unbinds him and does he have a bullet proof vest? He seems to survive all the bullets because you keep firing at him. No wonder Paul asked the Galatian church ‘who bewitched you’ , Galatians 3:1..………..‘

God hears us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days in the year. There is no better time to pray than now.

2 Corinthians 6:2 TLB – For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

The best time and the right time to pray is now, it is any time. No time is special, besides the world does not operate within the same time zone. Noon in my country is not noon everywhere globally, so if one is to say noon is the correct time to pray, then which noon is the best noon? I believe this is why we are told to pray at all times, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17.

What was David pointing at in Psalms 55:17 by giving mention to the timings of his prayer? What is God pointing at when He allows timings of prayer to be mentioned?

Acts 3:1 KJV – Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

Acts 10:9 NIV – About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.

Acts 16:25-26 KJV – And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed,…………….

Why did God see it important for us to know that the disciples went to pray at noon and at 3pm (evening)? Like I mentioned before, I believe there is a reason and meaning behind every detail in the Bible.

Mark 1:35 : And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

There are various records of Jesus praying in the morning, evening and night too. Why?

Mark 11:24 KJV Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Jesus did not say when we pray in the morning, noon or evening we will be answered. He did not say that prayers travel faster at night because of less traffic as it were 🙂

2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes………………………….

God did not say the promises are yes at noon or in the morning. Yes at night. God did not in any way suggest that there are better chances of getting a yes from Him at specific hours.

Basically all I am saying, I repeat, all I AM saying (did you see what I did there?), all I AM saying is that there is no biblical evidence that it is better to pray at specific times rather than at other times. 2 Corinthians 6:2 makes this very clear. I speak as far as the new covenant realities are concerned.

Why then are there records of times of prayer recorded? I believe today I found out why and I will tell you why.

Psalms 119:62 NASB – At midnight I shall rise to give thanks to You because of Your righteous ordinances

Last week during our Psalms sharing, as we read this verse, I noticed the mention of midnight. Again, another association of prayer and timing. So in my desperation and zeal to be a doer of the word, James 1:22, I told my wife that I think we should start sleeping early so that we can wake up at midnight to offer thanks giving prayers.

Romans 10:2 NASB – For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.

You know this is why we need knowledge before getting to the doing part. It is the lack of knowledge and revelation that has robbed Christianity of the power it should command.

Proverbs 4:7 KJV Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

If it was not for my wife’s understanding / insight today, I would have passed a new rule for my house i.e ‘wake up daily at midnight to give thanks’. I would have justified it as the biblical time of giving thanks according to Psalms 119.

Seriously though, some things are really sad if you think about them, this is the same way many Christians are caught up doing rituals and meaningless religious activities passed on from generations because man somewhere created religion, laws and rules for others to follow and nobody has really ever questioned or sought God for Himself. Any activity done without revelation or understanding has no meaning. Have you ever questioned why you do the things you do when you do and how you do? The power is in the revelation, in the understanding of the why, otherwise it remains a ritual / dead works.

Mark 7:13 KJV – Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Like I was saying, if it was not for the understanding that God has blessed my wife with, I would have fallen and led my entire family into the category of the people talked about in the verse above (Mark 7:13). My wife told me, ‘you know my King (i love how she calls me my King) I don’t think David meant midnight the hour but rather the darkness it symbolises‘. ‘There must be a deeper meaning and revelation to the word midnight‘, she said, ‘remember Hebrew is a very symbolic language’, she continued.

Boom!!!!!, I got a witness from the Holy Spirit, the light bulb went on, through my wife, God answered me, the question I had asked 1 month ago finally got answered (I really should be listening to my wife more often you know). Anyways that is besides the point, especially todays point.

Now that it has come up, I might as well just put it out there, women do carry answers for and from God. It is no wonder Eve was targeted by the devil and Jesus used women for His ministry (John 20:17, Luke 8:1-3) and birth (like He had a choice as far as birthing was concerned, LoL 🙂 . Jesus used women and liberated women, God has something up His sleeves that only women can birth, that is all I AM (is) saying.

Women get ready and get into position, you are going to be used in amazing ways for the kingdom of God, God will use you to birth grace realities, men brace yourselves and embrace the women. To the woman reading this, I declare and decree in the name of Jesus, your womb will birth for God in this season.

Moving on, making reference to the scriptures quoted before, we see that Jesus, David, Peter and the disciples, many times prayed in the morning, noon, evening and night. Why? To show us that we should never get too busy for prayer and intimate time with God i.e the secret place. Let me paint the picture and show the symbolism of the prayer timings mentioned. Morning is when the errands for the day begin, will you make time to pray and spend time with God or will you rush out and do what needs to be done. Noon represents the peak of the day, when the sun is all out, when the day is smack in the middle of busy, when everything is all bright and glowing. Will you step aside from your success, from your busy schedule to make time to spend intimately with God? Evening or late afternoon represent the concluding part of the day. After all is said and done, will you remember God or will you be too consumed marinating in the days success? Midnight or night represents darkness. Right in the middle of the night, having endured a duration of darkness with an equal duration left before dawn breaks. Like David, will you in the middle of your dark season or crisis wake up or stop to give God thanks?

Psalms 119:62 NASB – At midnight I shall rise to give thanks to You
Because of Your righteous ordinances.

Diligently seeking God during the good and bright times and during the bad and dark times forms the heart beat of praise and worship.

Psalms 100:4 KJV – Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Do you know the gates are made of pearls?

Revelations 21:21 KJV – And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl:………………

David said at midnight, i.e in his darkest hour and season he will wake up to give thanks to God, he later tells us to enter into the gates with thanksgiving. We also learn that the gates are made of pearls. Pearls are formed through irritation. The discomfort trials bring are meant to create pearls in you. There is something about giving thanks in your dark season, it forms a jewel in you and out of you. There is power, strength and beautification process in giving thanks when that situation, person and/or circumstance is uncomfortable and undeserving. There is something about stepping aside from your success, deliberately making room for God when all feels and shows to be extremely well. There is power in seeking God with a consistent zeal and hunger in both ‘good and bad’ times, remembering your secret place with God. All these might be irritating,uncomfortable,demanding and could be assumed as adding no value BUT a pearl is being formed through that discomfort AND that is the heart beat of praise and worship. God remains God, unchangeable and unshakable, worthy of our praise and worship round the clock. That is the heart beat of praise and worship. Loving God for who He is. Praising Him for He is never changing.

Thanks giving is what keeps your gates open.

Isaiah 60:11 NASB –“Your gates will be open continually; They will not be closed day or night, So that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, With their kings led in procession.

No matter what the circumstances or situations, keep your praise and worship on. That is the heart beat of praise and worship.

Psalms 34:1 NLT – I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises

In what you might perceive to be good times or bad times, maintain the discipline and attitude of hearty praise and worship. With this attitude, the earth will shake to bring forth the salvation of God. The earth cannot resist the heart beat of praise and worship.

Acts 16:25-26 NASB – But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were unfastened.

Forget not your secret place, it does not matter the season or times, forget not your secret place. Never plug out of your first love. That is the heart beat of praise and worship.

You want your gates to remain open for blessings to come in? You want the gates of the prison or whatever is holding you back to swing open? Get your praise on, get your worship on.

This is the heart beat of praise and worship – during your hour of crisis, you will remember God, worship and praise Him for who He is. The earth will shake and move to the frequency of the heart beat of this kind of praise and worship.

Before I start this, let me bring two things to your attention. I am sure you might have noticed already but let me explain them, it will help you understand better and take this post with the seriousness it deserves.

1. Notice the title of the message, I wrote devil in small caps, I just could not bring myself to terms with writing devil in capital letters, he really is not worth anything, even being mentioned in capital letters.
2. Take a second and third look at the picture under the title. Did you notice the size of the devil? Yes, that is how small he is, no wonder the Holy Spirit led me to write the word devil in small, just to emphasize on his size.

Having said that I believe I can now get on with the issue at hand. I had no intentions of writing about the devil today, I was completing a write up on ‘New Wine‘ but as God would have it, here we are, settling once and for all this little matter called the devil. I strongly believe that God wants us to put, with finality, the devil in his place of defeat and keep him there. The season has changed and it is game over for the devil. It was game over at the cross but the time has now come for the games to be over as far as your life is concerned. It is time to manifest, enough is enough, the truth has to be unveiled. You have to take it and run with it.

Father says this very loudly……. ‘NO MORE MEDIOCRITY’.

Hosea 4:6 NIV – my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge………….

Well today the knowledge is brought to you, candidly so, I stand in agreement with Father, NO MORE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Now let us get talking

You know I really used to give the devil too much attention until I discovered he is a none factor. Yes, that little evil one is a none issue, totally powerless and useless. Truth be told, many Christians have fallen into the same trap, giving him too much attention and credit.

1 Timothy 4:1 NASB – But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,

Two things are highlighted here, deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. For today let us handle the latter. By the grace of God we will touch on deceitful spirits at great length later. I find it unfortunate how the doctrines of demons is taught in some churches more than the teachings on / of Christ, I say this with all due respect. Some have even gone further to name ministries and churches after the devil rather than after Christ. The church really needs to be more victory and righteous conscious. Receive the grace to honor God with the name of your church, music, life, names of children etc. Why have some given the devil so much attention? Do you not realize that he is only trying to distract you from the truth? He is only trying to buy time because he knows how the story ends. Do you not see it? He wants to keep you running round in meaningless circles feeling like you are doing something. Let me show you a simple example, I am sure you have been taught about generational curses and how to break them. Right? The bible says that when you are in Christ you are a new creation, 2 Corinthians 5:17, now if you truly are a new creation, where do generational curses come from? You are new, in Christ, you are born of Christ, the incorruptible seed of the word, 1 Peter 1:23, not the seed of you earthly father and grand father. Honestly, how would generational curses come in? See the devil has many focused on generational curses so that they miss out on generational blessings. Enough of the ignorance and teachings based on mans limited knowledge of who he is in God and who God truly is. It is time for the truth in all its purity to be unveiled. Instead of filling yourself up with knowledge of the devil and how he works, how about you get to know  all there is to know about Jesus and believe in the finished works of the cross and see how your life will turn out. The devil was and remains defeated, period. Why are you fighting a defeated enemy? STOP it if you are, the mind games have to stop, the deception has to come to an end. I bind that spirit of deception and the deceitful spirits in the name of Jesus. Kings do not waste time fighting a defeated enemy, they go in and take the spoils.

Proverbs 13:22 NASB – ……….……And the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

For how long will you let the enemy keep and enjoy what is yours, go in and take the spoils. Have faith like the lepers and go out and get the stuff, it belongs to you anyway.

2 Kings 7:7-8 NIV – So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys. They left the camp as it was and ran for their lives. The men who had leprosy reached the edge of the camp, entered one of the tents and ate and drank. Then they took silver, gold and clothes, and went off and hid them. They returned and entered another tent and took some things from it and hid them also…….

Did the lepers fight anyone? No. The Lord did the fighting for them, they just went in and took the spoils. Your stuff is on the other side of fear, step out in faith. FEAR NOT, so said God 365 times in the Bible.

Mark 3:27 NIV –  In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.

Is it not interesting how the devil attempts this against us (the church). You see his strategy is to paralyze people, to tie them up with great fear, division / strife and doubt so as to plunder them. The good news is that Jesus already defeated him and that is why Jesus said we go out, preach the gospel and cast out demons and free the people. Notice, He did not say we fight demons. Bind that devil out of your life and get your stuff back, your role is to cast the devil out and the devils responsibility is to flee. Now get talking, get him out of your health, your business, your finances, your life and kick him out of everything that concerns you. Glory to God

Learn to ignore the devil, train yourself to ignore his noises. He is NOT worth your time. Not a second of your precious time on earth, you have nations waiting for you, Psalms 2:8. As a matter fact all the devil can do is make noise and distract you. Now every time he, the devil or some demons dare throw darts at you, swing thoughts of defeat at you or disturb you in one way or another, remind him/them that you now know the TRUTH and that you take God at His word. Resist the devil and he will flee. Game over. Be free for life.

James 4:7 NKJV – Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Did you notice that it is the devils work to flee? It is not your work to chase him or like has been in many unfortunate cases run away from him, God have mercy at the ignorance of many. Can you imagine how silly it looks if you meet an adult running away from a cockroach? Just step on the damn insect and move on, you would say to him. Or better keep your house in order and that filthy insect will not even show face. Do you see it? It works the same way with the devil, get you spirit being in order and the devil will have no room.

For clarity purposes and just to make sure that the games end fully for all, let us quickly go through one basic principle of the oracles of God. How do you resist the devil? How do you ‘fight’ him?

Ephesians 6:16 NASB – …..in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

 We are told with the shield of faith you will extinguish the flaming arrows of the devil. In James 4:7 you are told submit to God, then resist the devil and he will flee. The devil will only flee if you are submitted to God. Submission to God means you stand in agreement with His word, you believe Him and take what He said and says as the truth and the only truth. That is how the shield of faith works. Not only believing  in God but more so, believing God. When the devil tells you that you are sick, remind him that by the stripes of Jesus you WERE healed, 1^st Peter 2:24, when the devil curses you remind him that what God has blessed cannot be cursed, Number 23:8, Numbers 23:8, Numbers 23:23, when the devil condemns you for something you might have done wrong remind him that there is no condemnation  for those in Christ, get back on your feet and continue loving on Christ, Romans 8:1. We could go on and on, there is absolutely nothing that the devil can throw against you that will work against you. Get to know who you are through the word and use the word against him. Faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word, it is faith that keeps him in place and puts his flaming darts off.

Let us go to the word and see what God really says about the devil, what the truth is about the devil

1. Isaiah 14:16-17 KJV – They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

The devil is very small. Notice that you have to look at him narrowly, he is that small. One has to squeeze their eyes to look at him because of his minute size. When you see him you will be surprised, many will actually regret as to why they let such a small insignificant man disturb them. Glory to God. Thank you Jesus for giving us the truth.

2. Malachi 4:3 – And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.

You crush demons into ashes under your feet. The good news is that the day already happened. We are in the fullness of time, Galatians 4:4. So next time a demon disturbs you, just keep walking and crush it into ashes under your sole.

3. Colossians 2:15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.

This is such good victorious news. I know that you know no weapon formed against you can prosper, you even confess it, but guess what, there is better news

Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper;………………..

The good news is this, the ministry of Jesus has better promises. There are no weapons to be formed, leave alone them not prospering. The devil has nothing to form or use against you. He is the father of lies, John 8:44, do not believe him. I tell you the truth the Christian life is a triumphant life, Glory to God.

Colossians 2:15 HCSB –  He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; He triumphed over them by Him.

Let us look at the same verse in a simpler translation to put it in clearer perspective.

Colossians 2:15 ERV – He defeated the rulers and powers of the spiritual world. With the cross he won the victory over them and led them away, as defeated and powerless prisoners for the whole world to see.

Now that is an example of the better promises that the ministry of Jesus is founded on. Glory to God, how blessed we are to live in the dispensation of grace.

Hebrews 8:6 NASB – But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.

Hallelujah. Thank you Lord Jesus for the truth. Thank you for the victory. Glory to God

4. Romans 16:20 – The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Did I mention how small the devil is? Well here is another opportunity to remind you of the same. What is you shoe size? That is how small he is, glory to God. God crushes him under your feet, he can fit under your feet. Honestly, is this someone to fear? The devil has been taking advantage of the ignorance of many Christians, not anymore.

According to Colossians 2:15 Jesus already defeated him and crushed the devil, but do you know why Romans 16:20 says God will soon crush him? Do you know when the crushing will become a reality, manifest and take effect in your life? Today. Why today? Because today is the day you know the truth. Your Christian life cannot manifest beyond the revelation you have. This is why Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free, John 8:32. Then again Jesus said that it is for freedom that He set you free, Galatians 5:1. The freedom was given at the cross, however you walk into and in this freedom when you know the truth. Do not wait to get to heaven to enjoy your freedom, let His will be done on earth and in your life as it is in heaven. Today satan will be crushed under your feet, glory to God.

5. Luke 10:19 NKJV – Behold,I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus gave you the authority. Use it. Step on the devil and his demons, bind them, get them out of the way, NOTHING by any means can harm you. The devil cannot touch you leave alone harm you. Yes I said He cannot touch you, look at point 6 below and find out why you are untouchable.

6. Ephesians 1:20-22 NASB – which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church

Did you see where Christ is seated? At the right hand in heavenly places FAR above all principalities and powers. Now let me show you where you are seated spiritually, watch this now

Ephesians 2:5-6 NASB – …………even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

How amazing. Spiritually we are seated in / with Christ. Hence why God tells you that as Christ is so are we IN this earth? 1st John 4:17. What devil would dare touch Christ especially after the cross? What devil would dare touch you? You see Paul knew this and that is why he walked in such power and victory

Acts 19:15 NKJV – And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

When you get you identity in Christ, ooh glory to God, you will be mentioned in the same class and sentence with Jesus. Untouchable.

I declare in the mighty name of Jesus the devil is a none factor to you, he will never disturb you again because you now know the truth, you will never be bothered with him or what he is planning or saying because you are too consumed with what your Father in heaven is doing and saying as you obey and manifest His glory on earth. Enough of the lies and traps of the devil, like an eagle you fly above the storms now. In Jesus mighty name. AMEN.

Today the devil has been caught and exposed. Put a demand for a 7 fold return to what he took / stole / damaged. Angels get to work, in Jesus name. AMEN

Today the little foxes that have been ruining the vineyards while the vineyards are in blossom have been caught, thank you Jesus.

A few days ago I sat down to do Bible study with my lovely wife Irene, God bless her soul, such a gem. We were led to start from the book of John, the first chapter and so we did. Join me and follow through as I share some very interesting insights if I may.

John 1:1 KJV – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

From this verse i picked that the word and God are one….‘and the Word was God’.

From the Bible I also know that Jesus and God are one

John 10:30 NIV –  I and the Father are one.

So basically if God is the word and God and Jesus are one then it is accurate to say that Jesus is the word. ‘In the beginning was the word’ therefore can read in the beginning was Jesus. This explains the truth behind Colossians 1:16. The more I read the Bible the more I notice how well knit it is. This is surely a divine book, man cannot be this intentional, man cannot be this accurate.

Colossians 1:16-17 KJV – For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Jesus was there from the onset. No wonder in John 8:58 Jesus said before Abraham was born, I am. Indeed He is the great I AM (Exodus 3:15). Armed with this information, that Jesus was there from the beginning, I went to look for God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit in the Genesis creation story. By the way my wife was still with me and we were studying this together, just incase you are wondering how the we at the beginning has turned to I, but this is my blog, so enough of her already :). Before we go to Genesis to find The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, let us quickly read 1st John just to confirm the identity of God.

1st John 5:7 KJV – For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Did you notice the Bible says that the ones that bear record in Heaven are ONE and are the The Father, THE WORD and the HolySpirit? Ever wondered why it says the word and not Jesus? Yet we all know if is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Well, I believe after reading this far you wonder no more. The word is Jesus and Jesus is the word. Glory to God. Just incase you are wondering why couldn’t the Holy Spirit just write things directly so that we do not have to figure out stuff and search out mysteries, let me throw these verses at you, Proverbs 25:2 and Isaiah 45:15 and as you meditate on them allow me to also remind you that nothing valuable is ever found on the surface, you have to dig deep, the word of God is the most valuable thing on earth, one word from God can change your life forever, so dig and keep digging even when you find. AMEN. So get digging by fishing out Proverbs 25:2 and Isaiah 45:15, I will not post them here 🙂

Anyways, back to the search and thank you for following me this far, I can assure you, it is not in vain, the grace upon you has been multiplied (2 Peter 1:2)….. hint, dig it out to find out what it says 🙂

Genesis 1:1-2 KJV – In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

From the verse above we see that the heaven and the earth were created, again this verse confirms John 1:1 and Colossians 1:16-17. The only things that existed before, as per Genesis 1:1-2 are God, the Spirit and the waters. Hmmm!!! So where then is the Son, where is Jesus, where is the word? We know Jesus was there. I have heard many revelations and teachings saying that the light spoken of in Genesis 1:3 is Jesus but the Bible clearly shows that even this light was created like everything else that followed thereafter.

Genesis 1:3 KJV – And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Yes I agree Jesus is the light and we too are the light because as He is so are we (story for another day) but is Jesus really this light in Genesis 1:3 or it means something else? I present to you that this light was not Jesus. Why? This light was created, God said let there be light. Jesus was not created, He created. If at all then Jesus was there in the beginning and if at all the Bible is true, then Jesus has got to be somewhere between Genesis verses 1 and 2. Question is, where? we see God, we see Holy spirit and we see the waters, everything else was created. God takes God and Holy Spirit takes Holy spirit. So what does Jesus take? We are left with the waters. Jesus is the waters.

At this point I got really excited at the fresh revelation (I could be speaking for myself, maybe you had it before but honestly I had never seen this or heard it). My spirit was excited beyond description to learn and prove it. So I asked the Holy Ghost, ‘prove to me what you are telling me, how can this be so? How can Jesus be the waters? Give me scriptural evidence to back it up so that I can be able to share this golden nugget. I get so excited when God opens up the word for me.

Ephesians 5:26 KJV – That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word

Did you see that, Jesus washes the Church (you and me) with water. How? By the word. The word is equated to water. Remember Jesus is the word (if you cannot remember that feel free to go back to the start of this article :), so then Jesus is the water. Still not clear? Hold on, there is more, walk with me.

I jumped up at this point, life was bubbling inside of me, I really do excited when the word opens up right before my eyes, such an honor to be taught by the Holy Spirit. I wanted more, I needed more, I desired more. I always ask God for more. Why? He tells us to open our mouths wide and He will fill us up, Psalms 81:10. You know I really love God because if you ask for more He will give you more. God can back it up, He always backs up what He says. God ALWAYS confirms His word.

2 Corinthians 13:1 AMP – This is the third time that I am visiting you. Every fact shall be sustained and confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

So I asked for more confirmations and true to His word, He remains faithful to give us what we ask for.

John 15:3 KJV – Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

We use water to clean, remember the new testament was written in greek which is a strong functional language, so again we see Jesus comparing water to THE WORD. This is actually what was signified by the act of Jesus washing the disciples feet, it was a symbolic action. Let me explain deeper,

John 13:5 KJV – After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

So Jesus washed the feet and if we read further on, we see Jesus telling us to do the same

John 13:14 KJV – If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.

So what did He really mean or what was He speaking seeing that Jesus used parables? Jesus was not talking about the physical act of washing of feet but He was talking about spreading the gospel, taking the word to others. As Christians we are not in the business of physically washing feet, if we were then I must say we are really doing a bad job. As a matter of fact we are selfish because instead of washing others feet we are only washing ours when we bath (for those who do), ok maybe some married couples are exempt because they wash each others feet :). Jesus was talking about spreading the gospel, I will prove that shortly, be patient.

John 13:7 TLB – Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.”

Today is your day. You will understand what Jesus did. Glory to God

Greek is a highly functional language, always remember that. What is the function of water? To clean. The word cleans. Why would Jesus wash the feet and ask us to wash feet, why not hands, fingers, heads or brush teeth? What is the function of feet? To walk and stand. Walk going where and stand doing what? Spreading the gospel and standing on the gospel, THE WORD of God.

Ephesians 6:13 NIV –…………., you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 

Ephesians 6:15 NIV – and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

Look at how the TLB puts it,

Ephesians 6:15 TLB – Wear shoes that are able to speed you on as you preach the Good News of peace with God.

The act of washing feet is the act of spreading the gospel, the good news, if what you are hearing is not good news then my friend something is wrong (yet another story for another day). If you read further down in the book of John chapter 13, you will see this clearly in black and white.

John 13:20 KJV – Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Jesus said this after washing the feet, He sent them out after washing their feet, what did He send them out to do? Look for food? Ask for help? I don’t think so. Let us use the Bible to interpret Bible so that we steer away from personal opinion, emotions or worldly experience, pollution if you like. Back to the question at hand, what did Jesus send them out to do?

Mark 16:15 KJV – And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Jesus sent the disciples out, Jesus sends us out to take the gospel, to preach the gospel. This is what washing of feet means and this is what He meant when He told us to do the same. Just incase you are washing feet now, you can stop, you are safe :), your obedience is not there but in the spreading the gospel. Spreading the gospel by the way is not limited to preaching, it includes your life, is your life glorifying God? Yet another story for another day, we need to go back to Genesis and wrap this up :).

I believe you now see the water as the word and Jesus as the water in Genesis 1:2. Incase you do not, check John 4:14, when the woman asks for the water Jesus was talking about, He, Jesus continued to talk to her. The water that causes thirst to cease forever is Jesus, the WORD(s) He spoke to her.

John 7:37 NIV – On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.

John 4:14 KJV – But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

I bet now you understand why out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. You carry Jesus in you and with you. Can we go back to Genesis and close this up? Genesis 1:2 KJV – And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The spirit moved…… The Hebrew word used for moved is ‘rachaph‘ pronounced rakhaf. It means to grow soft and to brood. Yes, to brood, you see how a chicken sits on an egg, that is what The Holy Ghost was doing upon, the Hebrew word for upon is ‘al‘ and it means on behalf of, around or because of. So the Holy Ghost was doing this on behalf of, around and because of Jesus.

There you have it, heaven and earth were created by God the Father, The Son (word, water) and the Holy Spirit. This is why God says that at the end of the day the word will remain and Jesus said He is the alpha and omega. What was created will pass but the creators will remain.

Matthew 24:25 KJV – Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Revelations 22:13 KJV –  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Jesus is eternal. Hence why when you receive Him you receive eternal life. John 3:16

So my dear friend(s), two final things as we finish this, related or unrelated I do not know, you decide, I just felt the need to share

1. Do not build anything outside what God has told you or allowed you, do not go outside His word. Let Him guide you, direct you and lead you. If you are building your life on anything outside the word, sorry, it will not last and survive the test of time and the storms of life. Your life and everything that pertains to it should be founded on your rhema that comes from the logos word.
2. I know you have been taught that we have been created in the image of God and therefore we are co-creators with Him and creators just like Him and we can use our words to create. That is 100% true, I totally agree, but I present to you that your words will not create anything if the Holy Spirit in you has no word to brood over or grow. It is of utmost importance for you as a Christian to have the word in you. That is how Christ is formed in you and that is how you get the gospel working for you when you speak it if you have it.

2 Cor 4:13 KJV – We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Do you want results? Get that word in you, let it take root and speak your world into creation like God spoke His into creation.
